Joan Ford and Barbara Mozzicato have been officers of the Executive Board for the past 3 years. They have given so much of their time to help make our school such a success. Thank you to the both of them for the many countless hours they have dedicated to getting the job done. Their years of service are greatly appreciated. The PTO proudly honored Joan and Barbara and presented them with a gift basket as a token of gratitude.
On behalf of the PTO, "Thank You" to everyone who has been instrumental in making us such a success. We have accomplished many things this year and we couldn't have done it without all of your help. Our children are so fortunate to have wonderful and giving parents. Thanks again!!
Other School News
Guess what 4th Grade Parents? It's that time already. Our 2010-2011 Yearbook Committee already has 2 Co-Chairs. Kristine Brown and Lori Smith have bravely taken on this massive masterpiece. If you are interested in being apart of this committee, please contact the PTO. This committee is anxious and willing to get things started over the summer to eliminate some of the stress later in the year. Give us a shout if your interested!
Please send in all of the General Mills Box Tops and Campbell Soup UPC's (not full labels) that your families have been saving. Our last submission was worth $200 from General Mills, and we will be trading in the UPC's for some materials for FW School. Please remember to keep saving over the summer and send them in when school starts in the fall. Thank you!
Planning Ahead from the PTO:
Halloween Costume Extravaganza -This event will be held on October 5th but the planning is starting NOW. We are looking for gently used Halloween costumes to be donated, and during the Extravaganza the kids can come and shop for a Halloween costume. The price will range from $5.00 - $20.00. All funds will be donated to the PTO. Starting next week a big box will be placed outside the office for donations. Just drop them in and we'll take care of the rest. If you would like to be part of the new committee, please contact us at info@franciswymanpto.org.
Once again the PTO will be having a Fall Fundraiser in September. This year the company that was voted on at the May membership meeting is Innisbrook. If you would like to view the products early, please feel free to check it out at www.innisbrook.com.
A Ladies Night Out is in the works! Please be on the look out for future details...
Look What Your BoxTops are Buying!
The PTO was able to purchase each classroom a few games to have for indoor recesses from some of the money that we received from the Box Top Program. The PTO uses the money that we receive from the Box Top Program to go directly back for something that all the children can use. Please continue to support this program and keep those box tops coming.
We'll never run out of math teachers because they always multiply.
