Presenter Joe LeVasseur and key-note speaker, Dr. Adam Naylor, center coordinator/sport psychology coach, athletic enhancement center, Boston University. This presentation is the sixth in a series of parent-information evenings presented by the Department of Health, Physical Education and the Francis Wyman PTO.

Nominations for PTO Officers

Field Day Support Needed

The PTO needs 1 person to take over the PTO Support at Field Day (June 2).  This is a great way to help out with minimal effort and the kids love it!!  Call Karen Pflanz at (781) 273-1696 for information.

Cookbook Orders

Cookbooks are still available for purchase. If you reserved copies when you submitted recipes, you will still need to place orders (including payment) now. If you no longer have an order form, simply write your child’s name, class #, teacher name, the quantity of books you’d like and the total amount enclosed. Send this into school with payment ($8.00 per book). Orders are filled within a week, and will be sent home in your child’s backpack. Checks may be made payable to “Francis Wyman PTO”. Cookbooks will also be available at Arts Night (June 1). This fundraiser directly supports our school.

Arts Night

Thursday, June 1, 6:00-8:00 pm

Artist in Residence (funded by the PTO), Lisa Angelini, will be displaying the tile mural depicting the four seasons, featuring fruits and vegetables native to Italy. She worked with the students at Francis Wyman the week of May 8 – May 12.

The last Meeting of 2005-2006 will be held on Thursday, May 18, 7:30-9:00 pm in the Art Room. Nominations for Officers have been made and accepted …  Votes are needed … Year-end events and program updates … Preliminary budget outline for 2006/2007 … Help determine how funds will be spent for next year …  Hope to see you there!!
