Join us: FW Family Day at the Lock Monsters

DEADLINE REMINDER … FW Family Day … Enjoy the last evening of February vacation with family and friends during the Francis Wyman School Family Day when the Lock Monsters battle the Hartford Wolf Pack at Tsongas Arena in Lowell. Wear Red Sox gear because it is Red Sox Day! Meet Wally! Win a free trip to the Red Sox Spring Training! Tickets are only $12 for best available seating and $3 of every ticket goes to the Francis Wyman PTO!

Game Date: Sunday, February 26, 2006 @ 4:05 PM !!!

Use form that was sent home in backpacks to get tickets or click on "Downloadable Forms" at the PTO Home Page on the FW website ( www.burlington.mec.edu/fw/ ) to get an order form. Forms also in the Main Office.

Ticket Ordering Deadline … Monday, February 13 !!!

Save all those empty ink cartridges

Fundraise for Francis Wyman while recycling and turn your empty ink and toner cartridges into cash for our school !!!

For every eligible cartridge the Francis Wyman School sends in, Staples will mail us $3.00 !!!

How to participate … send in any eligible inkjet or toner cartridge (see the list located on the PTO Home Page at www.burlington.mec.edu/fw/ ) to school with your child in a plastic bag. Please send in laser cartridges in a box - just use the box that the new cartridge came in. The collection bin will be located in the main office. Once a month, we will be sending the cartridges back to Staples. Try asking your employer if they would like to contribute to the cause and donate the "empties" to Francis Wyman.

Pictures of 5^th Graders Still Needed !

The yearbook committee is still looking for pictures of 5^th graders participating in school activities.

Prints should be sent to school with your child in an envelope marked "Yearbook Committee". Please make sure your child's name, room, and teacher's name are printed clearly on the envelope. Your pictures will be returned before the end of the school year.

To submit digital pictures, either put them on a CD or DVD and submit them as you would prints. Otherwise, you can attach them in an email to FW-Yearbook@IPictureIt.com .
