Artist in Residence Program at Francis Wyman School

The Artist in Residence program at Francis Wyman was established in 1996. It is a collaboration of the Principal and Art Teacher which is funded by the Francis Wyman PTO. A theme/artist is chosen through discussion between the Principal and Art Teacher each year. The artist is contracted to come to the school for a period of time to work with the students and leave behind a beautiful piece of art created by the artist and students. The students also create their own art projects within the same theme and all the pieces are displayed at the annual Arts Night in May.
